A Mood-Food Response- Low Glycemic Dietary Management Program

The PureWeigh® PREMEAL Control Plan consists of PureWeigh® PREMEAL Beverage and PureWeigh-FM® capsules. These products are formulated for individuals with challenging weight management needs- often requiring additional control over mood-food responses, appetite, and inefficient fat and carbohydrate metabolism that affects healthy insulin function. The PureWeigh® PREMEAL Control Plan is designed as adjuvant nutritional support for the dietary management needed to provide successful weight loss and associated metabolic balance.

In general, the PureWeigh® PREMEAL Control Plan supports a healthy diet that is reduced in total calories and saturated fat, that is higher in low-glycemic carbohydrates and fiber, and moderate in protein. Healthy fats, important to the PureWeigh® PREMEAL Control Plan, include omega-3 fatty acids (EPA/DHA fish oil, flaxseed oil), GLA (borage oil, black currant seed oil, evening primrose oil), and mono-unsaturated fats. These fats should be consumed in place of refined vegetable oils, saturated fat and trans hydrogenated fats. Exercise- walking 40 minutes and/ or several 10 minute intervals of aerobic exercise, 5-7 days a week- can significantly improve weight control beyond diet alone and is an important component to the success of the PureWeigh® PREMEAL Control Plan.

PureWeigh® is an advanced PREMEAL beverage, designed to be taken before meals or as a snack, rather than as a meal replacement. It is easily combined with a professionally supervised low glycemic/high fiber diet and exercise program to enhance success.

**WARNING: Very low calorie protein diets (below 400 calories per day) may cause serious illness or death. Do not use for weight reduction in such diets without medical supervision. Not for use by infants, children, pregnant or nursing women.

Drink one serving 15 minutes before a meal, up to 2 times daily. Mix 1 scoop with 8–12 oz of water or milk, including soy or rice milks. Shake or stir until smooth. Drink slowly over several minutes.
